Hopitutuqaiki Opportunity Quilt Project Initial planning meeting April 16-18th 9 am-Noon Tuesday-Thursday from 9 am through 12 noon. Location Hopitutuqaiki classroom, Kykotsmovi. All other dates are to be determined at a later date. This is an annual volunteer project sponsored by Hopitutuqaiki. Each year up to 8 women construct a Hopi-themed quilt, which is used to raise funds for projects Hopitutuqaiki supports. A volunteer project to benefit Hopitutuqaiki. Meet every second Tuesday of the month beginning on March 14th from 9-4 pm. A mentor-guided project in constructing the 2023 Opportunity quilt.

For experienced quilters. It is similar to an old-fashioned Hopi quilting bee. Past quilts have been appraised at over $5000. We will sell tickets for a drawing, and winners will be announced at the Prescott Indian Art Market in September 2023.
